Training - starting Colts to advanced finish work! 

One of my favorite things to do is work with horses, to teach them to listen, respect and respond to us and in turn become a partner in the relationship.  I have had years of experience working with everything from off the track thoroughbreds, ranch bred quarter horses, untouched mustangs, large breed draft crosses and sport horses to the backyard pony. 

I work with all horses using solid natural horsemanship principles to make sure that the horse is safe and respectful and in turn learns to respond quickly and consistently to our requests.  I strive to make sure the horse becomes light to all aids, supple and soft.  The relationship that is built is then transferred back to the owner/rider in a lesson or series of lessons. 

Training Options 

• Monthly - $750 includes board 
  • hay can be provided or purchased ($15/bale) separately
  • any feed will be provided twice a day
• $100 deposit will save your training spot
• Training will be tailored to the horse, a training plan will be created with the owner and then executed. 
• By the hour - $60/hr 
• Note: Training at another facility is available but additional expenses apply.  

Please note training spots are extremely limited as we only take 1-2 horses in for training at any one time.  Please feel free to call and be put on a wait list.

Included in Training

• 5-6 days a week training sessions 
• Private stall boarding - we will feed any hay, supplements provided by owner and includes any blanketing requirements. 
• Access to pasture or turnout on non training days (if desired)
• Owner is encouraged and allowed to attend as many training sessions as possible 
• A private lesson with your horse at the end of his training program
